Cosmetic Dentistry
At Cornelscourt Dental, we offer a wide range of cosmetic dental treatments that can enhance your smile. If you are interested in any of these treatments, we are happy to discuss your options with you.
Composite Fillings
Tooth-coloured or “white” composite fillings are suitable for both front and back teeth (in most circumstances). Compared to traditional silver fillings, these materials are more aesthetic and are now as strong and long lasting.
Composite fillings are more time consuming and difficult to place, leading to higher expense. However, given the range of colours now available, they are camouflaged and lead to a more natural looking smile.

Teeth Whitening
We offer the at-home tooth whitening system. This involves wearing a custom-made tray containing whitening gel, for 10 to 14 nights. During your appointments the shade of your teeth will be recorded. As the shade will change gradually over the treatment, you can decide to stop treatment whenever you feel your teeth are bright enough. We ensure the solution is suitable for your teeth and gums prior to starting treatment.

Dental Crowns
Crowns are caps that cover 3/4 or the entire tooth. Teeth that are badly weakened by decay or trauma may require more support than basic fillings. Chipped, cracked, weakened, or decayed teeth can be strengthened with crowns. Different materials are available for crowns including porcelain (tooth-coloured), gold and other metals. We also place Implant Crowns, which are the tooth shaped attachment to dental implants.
Veneers
Veneers are thin, artificial tooth shells made from porcelain or tooth coloured composite resin. Veneers are custom fitted to bond to the front of your existing teeth. They can be used to correct stained, chipped, cracked, misaligned, and discoloured teeth. Veneers are very thin and can be prone to fracture and staining, so optimal oral hygiene must be attained.
Orthodontics
Fixed and removable appliances may be used to move teeth to a desired position. Fixed appliances such as bonded braces provide the most accurate and comprehensive tooth movements. For less severe malocclusions, removable appliances may be utilised such as Clear Braces or Invisalign. If you are interested in these treatments, we will recommend a specialist Orthodontist to you.
